We hope that everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing summer, and we are excited to welcome everyone back for the 2024-25 school year! Below is important TMS Band information all of our parents need to start the school year, such as concert dates, pep band dates, field trip dates, fundraisers, and more. Below is information on our band fees. All fees are invoiced through My School Bucks. Our goal is for all band fees to be paid by the beginning of October. Please contact a director with any questions or concerns about band fees.

• All band students pay this fee.
• Covers the cost of new music, instrument supplies (reeds, valve oil, slide grease, etc.), classroom supplies (binders, page protectors), t-shirt, and sectional instruction with a professional musician.

School Owned Instrument Rental Fee - $100

• Only for students that play: oboe, bassoon, french horn, baritone, and tuba.
• The fee covers the cost of regular care and maintenance on instruments.

Every students is given a band t-shirt as a part of their band fees. We wear our band t-shirts throughout the school year at different events and performances. Fill out the t-shirt size google form below so we know what size to order your student!

*Gadsen music has a very easy to use online rental process, and I highly encourage you to utilize this!

Advantages of using Art's Music or Gadsden Music:

1. This is a one stop shopping experience. They have everything your student needs for band class!

2. They sell high quality instruments that will serve your students well in band class.

3. They come to the school once a week to repair instruments. This is included in the price of your instrument rental.

When does my student need their instrument and supplies in class?

All 6th grade students will start bringing their instruments and supplies to class August 12th - 16th (if you ordered an instrument or supplies through Art’s or Gadsden Music, it will be delivered to TMS). The directors will check through all student instruments and supplies to make sure they have everything they need before we start playing. The first day of playing will be on Wednesday, August 21st.
