Hardy Elementary Newsletter

I would love to hear about your experiences of Hardy this year and your hopes for Hardy's future. Please, stop into the Hardy Main Lobby for office hours. I'm looking forward to getting to know your family, as I continue to get to know the Hardy Community. Assistant Principal Tsatsoulis will join us, if she is not busy with arrival.

We will have our November All School Meeting on Friday afternoon. Students who were acknowledged for SAFE behavior in October will receive their certificates and will have their picture taken with Hardy the Husky. 5th grade students will lead the assembly, introducing our KIND challenge. Staff will recognize KIND behavior with red tickets. Each week, names will be pulled from the classroom jars for student acknowledgements. Additionally, we work toward a school wide celebration at the end of November, if we reach our KIND goal.

The first School Improvement Council Meeting for the 2024-2025 school year is scheduled for November 7th from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Hardy School. The agenda includes reviewing last year's goals, current data, district-wide objectives, and aligning local goals with these. The Hardy School Improvement Plan will be presented to the School Committee in December.

5th grade families and the PTO will be hosting a Bake Sale at Hardy on Election Day. You will be able to purchase yummy treats after voting. Proceeds will help fund 5th grade Moving On activities in the Spring.
