Important Dates:

Monday 2/10/25 Ms. Rivera is off campus all day for PD & Mrs. Mauldin will be off all day Tuesday 2/11/25 for the same PD.
Tuesday our Superintendent will be conducting classroom walkthroughs with Ms. Rivera.
You do not have to work on Friday 🤣 (The next snow make up day in is April).
There will be a 50/50 raffle at the Home game vs Hot Springs On Tuesday to raise money for prom. The Junior Class will sell tickets in the stands.

Credit Recovery Opportunities for Classes Failed

Students who failed one or more classes last semester should receive a letter in the mail asking to choose from one of three options to make up their course:

After school credit recovery Mon-Thurs until 5:45 pm
(Melina Sanchez will run it Mon/Wed and Ryan Romero Tues/Thurs )
Spring Break Academy (Come to school during Spring Break for 4 hrs. a day) anyone interested please let Ms. Rivera know. We will offer the extra duty pay to other teachers in our district who are HS certified if we can not get anyone at SHS to support Spring break Academy)
Summer school during the whole month of June. If you would like to work please let Ms. Rivera know.

Books for your Book study are in! (We will give them to your dept chair) Math & ELA got their books last week. You can start reading this week by discussing it and take 10-15 min each week to let everyone read during PLT time. There is no rush to finish and you can discuss & learn together the rest of the semester.
Discuss strategies for RTI that are working in your classes.
