Last year, we had the highest amount of participants--151%! Let's keep up that momentum and get COMPETITIVE!

Nolan will again provide ice cream for the entire student body for the top three campuses with the highest % of participation. Any parents or staff who officially register will count towards your campus numbers.

Uniform UPDATE!

We have exciting news to share!

The votes are in, and the SJS Spirit Squad has officially chosen next year’s uniform — and we’re thrilled to reveal the winning look!

This bold and spirited new design reflects the energy and pride of our amazing team — and it’s coming just in time for a brand new season of school spirit!

We’d also like to give a huge congratulations to our Spirit Squad girls for their incredible fundraising efforts. Thanks to their hard work (and your generous support), 17 brand-new uniforms have been fundraised for! 💙💛

We’ll be ordering a fit kit soon and scheduling a sizing day for all Spirit Squad members. More details will be shared with families in the coming weeks so we can ensure every cheerleader is fitted and ready for the 2025–2026 season.

UPDATE TO COME FROM THE 4/15 MEET!

Track had their second meet at Nolan on Tuesday, April 8! Here's how they did!

GIRLS DIVISION

100m (Year 8)

Layla: Placed 2nd overall! Time: 14.91 seconds

Alexa: Placed 3rd overall! Time: 15.12 seconds

Charlotte: Placed 4th overall! Time: 15.18 seconds

All were within less than 1 second of first. 🤯 Way to bring that Eagle Power! 🦅💪

100m (Years 5 & 6)

Skylar: placed 21st overall. Skylar was injured during her run and got knocked down at the beginning--but then got up and kept going! We are so proud of you for pushing through. We hope you're feeling better soon!

Long Jump (Year 8)

Layla: Placed 2nd in the Year 8 division and was 3rd overall! Distance: 12' 6"

Alexa: Placed 5th in the Year 8 division. Distance: 9' 4.5"

BOYS DIVISION

100m (Years 6 & 7)

Gregory: Placed 4th. Time: 15.6 seconds

Isaac: Placed 8th. Time: 19.07 seconds

• High jump: Charlotte starts at 4:15pm
• Discus: Hillary starts at 4:15pm
• 400m: Gregory, Alexa, Layla, Andrew
• 200m: Alexa, Layla, Isaac, Gregory, Skylar, Damian, Andrew at 5pm

Week B: 4/22

• Long Jump - Alexa and Layla at 4:15pm
• Shotput - Hillary at 4:15pm
• 100 meter - Isaac, Andrew, Skylar, Gregory at 5pm

The Lenten art contest was a success and we surpassed our goal of $500. We had 16 art entries and results from the Art contest within SJS and St. John Parish have the following winners:

1. Group 1: Pre-K to 1st grade: Christopher Preslar
2. Group 2: 2nd to 4th grade: Sarah C. from the Parish (Her artwork raised the most money during the contest. She raised $169!)
3. Group 3: 5th to 7th grade: Skylar Tran
4. Group 4: 8th to 12th grade: Evelyn Kiowski (She had 5 entries and raised over $150 total for all five)

We raised a total of $665 for Baby World and Food Pantry. Thank you to everyone who voted and volunteered to help with our project.

The following dates and times will be held at St. John's in the Resource Room for Adult Initial Training. (This is a great way to go ahead and get your Safe Environment for volunteering at SJS campus, Fall Fest, etc.)

• Saturday, May 31: 9am to noon

The following dates and times will be held at St. John's in the Resource Room for the remainder of the year for Adult Renewal Training. (This is required every two years to ensure your Safe Environment training is up to date.)

• Thursday, June 5: 6:00pm - 7:30pm
