#1 Uniforms 🏫
Yay to the first day! School begins on Thursday, Aug. 22, for K-8th, so make sure your student is wearing their Thursday uniform. The uniform schedule is available in the office as well as on our website. Being in uniform is also a great way to show pride in our school. Go Falcons!! #2 Kinder 101 🔤
We’re excited to welcome our littles! Kinder 101 is happening August 12-15, 2024 from 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM. During Kinder 101, Sra. Peña and Sra. Núñez-Gastelum will bring students together to get a jump start on all things school. Our program provides students with an opportunity to experience their classroom, work with their teacher, and make new friends all before the first day of school.
Just a reminder that Kindergarten at Four Rivers is taught in Spanish.
Also, there is a required Kindergarten Parent Meeting happening August 12, Monday, at 5:30 PM inside the multipurpose room.
#3 School Communications 📣
General communications from us will be sent via text messages, which will include links to letters, reminders, and our monthly newsletters. As long as you provided your cell phone number during registration, you should be receiving these text messages. If you are not receiving messages, please reach out to the front office. Additionally, please save our contact as “Four Riv” or “FRCS”; otherwise, we will appear as “675-87”.

#4 Drop-off/pickup time 🚗
As we get into the rhythm of being back to school, please be patient over the first two weeks during drop-off/pickup time. One idea is to arrive at 2:50-2:55 PM (instead of 2:45 PM) for the first couple of school weeks. Drop off time for K-8 is 7:35-7:55 AM and pickup time is 2:45 PM. Drop off time for 9th-12th is 7:35 - 7:55 AM and pick up time is 3:00 PM.
Please keep in mind any changes to transportation need to be communicated to the front office by 1:45PM.We appreciate you!

On this day, there will be no transportation available, please drop off your student (s). School doors open at 7:35 AM.
#8 Family Friday 💚
If you’re new to Four Riv, you’ll enjoy Family Friday. It’s a time when we invite families to the main campus to have breakfast (7:35-7:50 AM) with their K-8 student(s) and enjoy pan dulce with coffee, for free! This event takes place every Friday that school is in session. That means, we have 19 Family Friday’s this year, please join us!

Our athletes are hosting a Community Carnival on September 17, from 5:00-7:00 PM, and you're invited! Bring your family and friends for an evening of fun to support our sports programs for the upcoming school year. How else can you help? We’re in need of Silent Auction baskets or items, please consider donating. Please also help spread the word by sharing our event as much as you can!
