NJHS
This week, we proudly welcomed new members into Bell’s National Junior Honor Society. Congratulations to each of these outstanding students on their remarkable achievement!
Well Done Orchestra
Bell’s Orchestra delivered a stunning performance this week, marking a wonderful start to the season. We are thrilled to welcome the talented Daniela Popa to our arts team!
What's Happening at Bell
Halloween Costume Contests
Students are encouraged to participate in Bell's annual Halloween Costume Contests. Entry into the contest is $1. Students are able to compete in the following categories on October 31st:
- Most Creative
- Funniest
- Scariest
- Best Group
- Best DIY
UNICEF
Bell is hosting a costume contest with a $1 entry fee on Halloween. All proceeds will go to UNICEF. The contest features five categories: scariest, best group, funniest, most creative and DIY. If you would like to make additional donations to UNICEF please donate here.
Lost & Found
If your student has any lost items (jackets, hoodies, water bottles, etc.), please have them check the lost and found area soon! We will be donating any remaining items on Friday, November 22nd.
Students Looking for Volunteer Hours
Bell's National Junior Honor Society is made up of 8th graders who commit to being top scholars and leaders in the community. Our students are required to complete 2 hours of volunteer work each semester. If there is a need in the community or an event you'd like student volunteers for, please reach out to the sponsors, Julie Schlosser and Danielle Swanson. Spirit Wear ON SALE NOW until October 28th
Check out the Bell Spirit Wear Store. There are all kinds of shirt styles, tank tops, sweatshirts, flannel pants, ball caps, and more to show your Bell Spirit. They make great gifts for the holidays. This is the only time PTA plans to sell spirit wear this year; make sure to get your orders in. Go Bobcats!!!

Here are this week’s Bobcats of the Week, as nominated by teachers and staff members weekly from each grade. Students are nominated based on consistent or exceptional R.O.A.R. (Respectful, Optimistic, Accountable, Responsible) behavior. 😊

Counseling Corner
BOOK CLUB: The Anxious Generation
On November 11, at 6:00pm, Golden High School is hosting a discussion night on the book, The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. Please read this insightful book ahead of time and come for a community discussion. 📕
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Golden Library has a drop-in volunteer day for teens aged 12-18 at the Golden Library on Tuesday, October 29th from 4-7pm. This is a casual volunteering opportunity that doesn’t require any sign up ahead of time- teens/tweens can just show up at the library for part or all of the program from 4-7pm.
ORGANIZATION SUPPORT
Does your student need help with organization? We offer Clutter Clinic every Wednesday during WIN time. Reach out to your student’s counselor to sign your student up or have your student sign themselves up! Students can join just for one time or ongoing times if needed.
Hazel Health Network-online Mental Health Support
This free counseling service is Jeffco supported and very quick to get started.
Parents or your student's grade-level counselor can make a referral by clicking the link above. Many Bell parents have used this service and have great feedback.

Box Tops are easier than ever now with the mobile app! Just scan your receipts from any retailer and the amount will be auto-calculated. Paper and digital receipts are accepted (and don't forget those Costco receipts!).
