The Patterson PTA would like to thank Jessica Maglaris, Chairperson of the PTA Hospitality Committee, and her assistants for an outstanding job organizing breakfast, lunch, snacks and sweets to honor the amazing Patterson staff throughout the week! The staff really enjoyed the fun decorations and delicious treats! Thank you to all who helped, including Kimberly Neukomm, Brittany Reid and Erin Grant, the incoming PTA Hospitality Committee Chairperson.
Thank you to all of the students who wrote special notes to the teachers and staff who have "Lifted Them UP" this year. The teachers and staff loved receiving them!
Teacher Appreciation Week is always a great success with the help of our wonderful Patterson families. With the help of your generous donations throughout the year, the PTA also provided the Patterson Staff with Downtown Naperville gift cards to show our appreciation for all they do. Thank you for supporting the Patterson staff!
2024 - 2025 Registration Is Now Open! Go! Go! Go!
Registration for the 2024 - 2025 school year is now open. It is important in planning classes for 2024-25, that we have accurate registration numbers. Before the end of May, all returning families should go into ParentVue and register their child for the next school year. You will be asked to pay the registration fee online, but that can be done at a separate time if preferred (2 separate processes). You may also upload any medical forms required at a later time. Not Returning to Patterson Next School Year?
If your student is not returning next year to Patterson (moving out of our district or school boundary) please fill out the 2024-2025 Transfer & Withdrawal form and return it to the office. This does not apply to our Fifth grades who are moving on to Greggory M.S.
Patterson Volunteer Appreciation Celebration
Thank You to all of the wonderful volunteers who graciously gave their time to support Patterson this school year! If you participated in one of the many volunteer opportunities, such as a PTA Committee or Committee Chair, Prairie Dog Partners, Greeter Desk, Class Parties, Field Trips, Field Day, Mystery Reader, or other classroom volunteers, we would like to honor your hard work! Please join us for our next PTA General Meeting: Monday, May 13th 6:30pm, Patterson LMC, for a District Budget Presentation from Dr. Louis Lee and Board of Education Member Supna Jain. Following the District Budget Presentation, we will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Celebration in your honor!

Principal Frost's Retirement Tribute
We have two optional opportunities for you to show your appreciation for Principal Frost's amazing contribution to the Patterson community over the past 15 years!

3:15 - Fifth Grade Clap Off! Mrs. Frost will join the fifth grade to clap off at the end of the line. Anyone wishing to join the clap-off outside, please line the walk on the North side of Patterson and along the sidewalk that leads around back past bike racks. Students will exit Door 11 and walk that route to the back of the school.

Lots of happenings in the LMC as we wrap up the year!
- Happy Volunteer Appreciation! We ❤ and appreciate our LMC volunteers! We couldn't keep our library running smoothly for all of our students and staff! Please stop by the LMC for a token of our appreciation-Mrs. Maly and Mrs. Fernandez
- Naperville Public Library will be visiting all grades to talk about their Summer Reading program! Keep up those reading skills over the summer😁
- WOW!!! We had 204 students particpate in our Birthday Book Club for this year! I cannot THANK YOU enough for supporting this wonderful program for our library. Students are always excited to either check out their book they donated or check out a friends. It is also fun to see students pictures in books from when they were in KDG and now in 5th Grade! Look for our flyer in the fall for 2024-2025!
Indian Prairie Education Foundation = IPEF We Need You to Walk/ Run!
Our district education foundation sponsors many programs and events and provides grants across the district. Coming up is the Fine Arts Festival in May that they sponsor. To raise funds, each year Team IPEF participates in the Naperville 1/2 Marathon. !/2 of the funds raised by our school team go to IPEF, and 1/2 comes back to our building. Patterson does not have a team yet!! We are looking for some walkers or runners to participate and start our team! Register Today and select Patterson as your school!

A Note From The Health Office
Attention all KN and 2nd grade parents: The deadline to turn in your students dental form is 5/15/24. If we have not received a dental form for your student you should have received an email reminder.
Illinois law (Child Health Examination Code, 77 Ill. Adm. Code 665) states all children in kindergarten, second, sixth, and ninth grades of any public, private, or parochial school shall have a dental examination. The examination must have taken place within 18 months prior to May 15 of the school year.
2024 Kane County Cougars Reading Club Tickets
If you turned in a Kane County Cougars Reading Club ticket order and payment, your tickets will be sent home with your student prior to the game.
Game Date: Friday, May 17th at 6:30pm
*Please note, students must be supervised at the game by a parent/trusted adult.
