Happy Fall, Pick Families!
Please mark your calendars with these dates for our fun and exciting month of October!
- October 10th marks the end of our first 9 weeks and the final day for academic grades for this term.
- First 9 weeks Report Cards will go home on October 23rd.

- Students will be out of school on Friday, October 18th and Monday, October 21st for a Fall Holiday and Parent Conference/Staff Development Day.

Mrs. Brown's Counseling Corner
This month, our counseling focus is on "Begin with the End in Mind." We're learning about setting clear goals and using step-by-step instructions for problem-solving.
Here's how you can support this at home:
1. Set goals
2. Create a plan
3. Use visual reminders
4. Reflect together
By reinforcing these strategies, you can help your child build a strong foundation in goal-setting and problem-solving. Regular attendance is crucial for academic success and social skill development. Your support makes a significant impact on their learning journey. Thank you for your partnership!

Check out the ROCKIN' art projects students completed with Mrs. Hames!
To celebrate our Pick Leaders Rock! theme, Mrs. Hames led the students in creating some beautiful and fun Rock-N-Roll pieces for this year's Magnet Art Project. Be on the lookout for flyers to come home about an opportunity to purchase Magnet Art items. They make wonderful gifts, and this little fundraiser helps add to the art supplies that all students use during the year! The sale window is until 11-8-24 for parents to purchase items to arrive by 12-5-24.
