Slate Ridge Weekly Newsletter
February 14, 2025
Dr. Parlar, Principal
Dear Slate Families,
This week was full of excitement as we wrapped up our Bingo for Books Family Night on Thursday, February 13. It was a huge success, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us! The evening was filled with fun activities, great energy, and lots of laughter. It was wonderful to see so many families coming together to support our students and celebrate reading.
We are grateful for your ongoing involvement and commitment to your child's education.
Looking ahead, we have another week of exciting learning and growth to look forward to.
Warm regards,
Dr. Parlar, Principal

Read-a-thon Mayor Begeny visited Slate Ridge
Mayor Joe Begeny Mayor of Reynoldsburg came to read to Mrs. Olsons kindergarten class! Mayor Begeny read “Duck for President”, educated the students about the mayor's job, taught us why Reynoldsburg is all about tomato’s, and even colored pictures with us for Valentine’s Day!
Thank you to Mayor Begeny and Slate Ridge Elementary PTO for making our Read-a-thon so great!
