Lessons and Activities
Morning Message
Dear Victor Primary,
It’s Friday! Friday will be “Funny Fridays.” Each Friday we will give you a joke to start your day. Jokes can put a smile on your face, a giggle in your belly, and even make you think a bit. If you have a great joke to share, send it to me or tell it to a family member. Here we go with our first joke…
What do you call cheese that’s not yours?
Nacho Cheese
Reading
Good morning!
Today you can continue reading your book or choose a new one. Try to read about 30 minutes today! This can be a just right book or you can have someone read aloud to you. Don’t forget you can access more reading resources on Classlink!
After reading your informational (nonfiction) or fictional story for 30 minutes, choose at least 1 box from the menus below. You can discuss this with someone or you could keep a reading journal with your thinking.
Fluency
Your goal for fluency is to read smoothly with expression.
