You are welcome to cheer your student on. We will have a designated parent area during the Fun Run so you can take pictures and enjoy the event. Please be aware there is limited parking. Plan ahead...

We need volunteers for Sept. 27th. We need help setting up our course, organizing students, providing support with the water station, and throwing color on our runners. Visit our PTO website: https://smbulldogs.ptboard.com to sign up.

ELAC Meeting #1-September 25, 2024, Room G-17

Please join us for our first ELAC (English Language Advisory Committee) parent meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th. There will be two sessions; 9:00-10:00am and 4:00-5:00pm.

ELAC Parent Meetings are for our families and students who are multilingual and are provided with support for English Proficiency while at school. We are so fortunate to celebrate the multilingualism at Stuart Mesa. Come to learn more and share your feedback to support our school and district goals for student success. ELAC is a great way to meet other multilingual families! ELAC meets 5 times a year.

ELAC Presentation and Agenda

We have received the physical order slips and they will be sent home this Wednesday, Sept. 25th. These order slips will have individualized keycodes on them specific to each student. These slips will also give you all of the information you will need to be able to view and order your student's photos online at the sumnerphotography.net store. If you have any questions, please contact the customer service team at help@sumnerphotography.net or 800.440.2002.

MAKE UP PICTURES ON SEPT. 30th!

Our library also has a second pumpkin contest. Students can color/design a book character on a pumpkin coloring sheet.

Pumpkin Coloring Sheet Contest directions:

1. Decorate your pumpkin like a character from a BOOK. (Link to Pumpkin Coloring Sheet to print or pick up a blank one in the library.)

2. Bring your decorated pumpkin to the library on Friday, October 11th.

3. Include the completed entry sheet. This must be legible. (Link to entry sheet to print or pick one up in the library)

4. This should be mostly student work. Pumpkins are not judged on perfection (there will be winners based on grade levels).

5. Pumpkins will be on display in the library until Friday, October 18th. Voting will take place in the library October 14th through the 17th during the Book Fair. Winners will be announced on October 18th.

6. Pumpkin coloring sheets will be returned to teachers the following week.

Friday was our first Lunch on the Lawn. We were happy to have over 200 parents attend. Students love to have their parents join them for this activity!
