Principal's Message
Westwood students are making growth! Report cards go home on Friday.
This week, we completed our middle-of-year conversations about our students' academic and behavioral progress.
I am so excited by all of the growth that we are seeing in reading, math, and other areas.
That being said, your support at home is greatly appreciated. Please continue to check in with your students at home about the work that they are doing at school. If you have questions about your student(s)' progress, please reach out to their classroom teacher.
We will be sending home student report cards on Friday, February 28th.
Thank you for supporting OUR student(s). Together, we can help to guide our students into being successful citizens in the world.

New at the Festival!! Junkyard Masterpiece Art Competition
New this year is our first-ever art competition, "Junkyard Masterpieces", sponsored by Cal-Waste. Students Pre-K through 12 are invited to create collages and/or sculptures from recycled and reused materials that will be showcased at the festival. All of the information regarding this competition is in the attached flyer and in this folder Art Show Poster & Submission Files.
We are asking teachers to help promote our competition by either making it a class assignment or simply encouraging students to get creative and send in their submissions. Submissions can be either dropped off in person in the Lodi High School Library or sent via district mail to “Lodi High-Library”.

Picking Up and Dropping Off Students
As a safety reminder, when picking up or dropping off your student, please use our drop-off loop (the staff parking lot is not for student drop-off) and pull as far forward as possible when in line with your vehicle. This supports a smooth drop-off and pick-up process.
🚗 Parents should stay in their vehicles and pull up to the student drop-off zone during this time. Please do not leave a vehicle unattended in the drop-off loop at any time. If you need help, wave down a staff member and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you for doing your part to keep our students safe.
Additionally, please be sure that your students have the proper car seats, booster seats, or seatbelts as required by California State Law. Let us know if you need help or resources to keep your student safe. 💺✅
