Halo Notes
St. Louis Catholic High School - Thurs. May 8, 2025
HABEMUS PAPAM!
Closing with Athletics
At tomorrow’s state track meet, the 2024-25 Saints athletic year will come to a close. Once again, our Saints achieved some outstanding things on the fields and courts. Boys tennis and boys golf won state championships. Thirteen more teams finished in the top 10 in the state in their respective divisions – girls indoor track (3rd), girls golf, baseball, boys soccer, girls soccer, girls cross country (5th), boys swimming (6th), boys powerlifting (7th), softball, boys basketball, wrestling and volleyball (9th) and girls powerlifting (10th). Girls and boys track & field could also be added to the list after tomorrow.
Saints teams also won six of 11 possible district championships – boys golf, baseball, boys soccer, girls soccer, softball and girls track & field. No other District 3-3A team won more than two district crowns.
As 2024-25 ends, we bid a fond farewell to our seniors and wish them the best in their future endeavors on and off the fields of play. It is our prayer that they continue to use the lessons they learned in athletics in their daily lives.
Go Saints!
