Fast ForWord
As part of our District Learning Day programming, teachers had the opportunity to work with the Fast ForWord team.
During the call, we discussed how to manage students, how to monitor student progress, how to motivate students, how to identify when students need help, and how to provide help for students. We covered a lot in a short amount of time!
Moving forward, some of you may have questions or need support. You can reach out to Amy Keesling at akeesling@carnegielearning.com. Likewise, you can contact customer support at 888-358-1212 or you can access the live chat here.

Coachly
All elementary schools have access to a coachly license. This provides personalized support for the implementation of Math 180. You can follow these steps to connect with your coach!
Success Metrics to consider at Mid-year
Semester goals for students:
50 sessions/15-20 min. per session/complete at least 5 topics
Please keep these goals in mind as we begin the second semester.
Additional resources for Math 180 can be found in our Canvas course.
Second Semester Support Visits
We are working to facilitate scheduling in-person support for the second semester. If you have not been contacted by Math 180 for your next support session, please reach out to your region facilitator.
Fidelity Checks
According to the state updated RTI² Manual, "...fidelity is measured by the accuracy or extent to which the instructional methods and materials are used to provide instruction. The goal of fidelity monitoring is to ensure that the intervention is being implemented with integrity and to the specifications of the intervention methodology or program being utilized."
We now have the ability to complete Fidelity Checks in MTSS as well. This powerpoint can guide you through the process. Schools should conduct at least 1 direct observation per semester and 2 indirect per semester.

Networking Session
We had the opportunity to host an RTI2 Networking session in February. This was a time to review data and collaborate with team members across the district. We are looking forward to future networking sessions. The resources from this first session can be found in our RTI2 Canvas Course using the "Coaches and Academic Interventionists" button.
