Attention Parents of Current 6th Graders (7th graders for 25-26 school year)
One of the requirements for all 7th graders to attend school is to have the Tdap immunization. Please take your child to your physician or local Health Department for the necessary immunizations as soon as possible. Please return the required certificate of immunization (DOH680 form) to the school so we can document it in our records.
You can provide this documentation a couple different ways:
1) Bring a copy of the immunization record to the school for us to verify and note in our system.
2) Scan the document and send an email to Mandi Kline, RN, school nurse, at
mkline@pasco.k12.fl.us
Please note that students who have not provided documentation of this required immunization will not receive their class schedule during registration in August. If the required document is not received by the first day of school, your child will be excluded from school until proof of the vaccine is provided.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Failure to respond by the above date may result in your child being unable to attend the first day of school.
Spring Testing Schedule - Revised
We have revised our Spring testing schedule and changed some testing dates. Please note that agriculture finals will now be administered on May 19th, 6th and 8th grade social studies finals will now be administered on May 21st, and theater finals will be on May 22nd. We have attached the revised schedule.
May 1st is our official start of the testing window. It is very important that students are at school daily, especially on testing days as these assessments are critical in student placement of classes for next year and some assessments are also calculated in the student’s final grade.
If you have any questions, you may contact our Administrator who oversees testing, Ms. Santos-Mira at amira@pasco.k12.fl.us
Class of 2025 - Ready for High School!
On May 30, 2025, T.E. Weightman Middle School will honor its 34th Class of 8th graders as they leave middle school behind and venture to high school. We’ve enjoyed these students over the past three years and couldn’t be prouder of them. We wish them all the best! Students who have completed all their academic requirements and have no more than one class to recover will be eligible to walk in one of three ceremonies arranged by team. Each ceremony will include the students’ names being called as they walk across the stage of the Center for the Performing Arts at Wesley Chapel High School.
Afterwards, students can be checked out in the gym lobby of our school. If you will be signing your student out after the Promotion Ceremony, please click on the link to complete our Pre-Check Out Mach Form https://tewms.pasco.k12.fl.us/mform/view.php?id=82235
No tickets are required, and doors will open 15 minutes before the start time of each ceremony. Please make sure you know your student’s team. If unsure, the student can check the official team lists in their hallways. The schedule for the day is as follows:

Wildcat Bucks (PBIS)
Wildcat Bucks (PBIS) continues to be rewarded to our students for following our ROAR expectations. The Kat Shack is open before school and students have been purchasing items or entry into our Hangout Room. This room has various interactive games that students can play with their friends during lunches. We are excited to announce that students can now order items online for students who are not able to visit the Kat Shack in the mornings. Attached is the menu of items they can purchase, to include an entry ticket to the Hangout Room. We will be updating our merchandise periodically.
Lastly, we would love to partner with any community members or businesses to support our Kat Shack. We are also in need of one school approved volunteer to help us fulfill online orders each Thursday. Please email Ms. Andressa Santos-Mira at amira@pasco.k12.fl.us if you would more information as to how you can support this student incentive program.
Theme Thursday
Some of our students asked if they could be a part of our Theme Thursday Shirt Day that teachers participate in here at TEWMS. This is not a dress up day but a day to wear a t-shirt that goes with a theme. Below is the Theme Thursday's shirt for May, if your student would like to join in. This is not required, it's just for fun!
