Eagle Updates Week of November 11 - November 15
Principal's Corner
Happy Veterans Day!
Thank you to all who have served our country. We appreciate your dedication and service!
What a fun night we had on Friday with our preview games for our basketball teams, and our 2nd annual alumni game! Thank you to everyone who cane out and donated to our CMS Food Pantry. Your donation is appreciated and will be used. If you were not able to come out on Friday, you can donate any time. Contact Terry Lawler and she will coordinate a drop off time that works for you! terry.lawler@cmseagles.net
We only have two weeks until our fall Thanksgiving Break, and then three more weeks until Christmas Break. Please make sure your student is here every day - we have no time to lose!
We have so many things happening - be sure you scroll down and make note of the events, and things we need your help with!
It's always a great day to be a CMS Eagle!

Attendance Matters!
And a reminder that students are only allowed 5 notes to excuse absences each semester.
Once students reach four (4) unexcused absences per semester they can be referred to the court. Out of school suspension counts towards unexcused absences as well.
Cell Phone Free Schools!
We have purchased our Yondr pouches and will begin implementing them when we return from Christmas break. Many schools across Arkansas and the United States have adopted using pouches to secure student cell phones during the school day to increase student academic performance, and decrease the effects social media has on their mental health.
Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our policies and FAQ's, Governor Sanders' initiative, and the Yondr pouch program.
Class Dues!
FREE Tutoring!
Dress Code!
We have had a great start to the year regarding dress code. The students have been dressed appropriately and ready for learning! The illustration below really sums it up! Just remember, no pajama pants, track shorts, and headgear. And remember the dress code, as this applies to the school day AND school sponsored events - including football games and other sporting events.
Thank you!
