Student Attendance Requirements
Attendance is an important factor for your scholars' success and readiness for the next grade level. Harmony DC policy requires scholars to attend school 90% of the year. Parents/families will receive a letter with the report cards to show their scholar's attendance this week. Parents/families of those scholars who have less than a 90% attendance rate will be scheduled for a mandatory attendance meeting.

Perseverance
During this holiday season. we wanted to ask for your help. What are some ways that you and your scholars are showing perseverance this holiday season? We need your support with helping our scholars reflect on how they are showing perseverance this week. We'd love to hear some of these reflections at our family thanksgiving lunch this coming Friday. Thanks for your support!
Science Fair
It's SCIENCE FAIR TIME!
Kinder through 5th Grade Families,
Information regarding the science fair is being sent home. Please check your K-5 scholars' science bookbags for important information. Information will also be posted on Class Dojo.
Two items are being sent home:

2. Science Fair Family Guide: This guide should help families navigate through the science fair project processes.
Morning Arrivals for Before Care
Peanut Free School
We know you LOVE your peanut products! Snickers! Reese's! Who doesn't love a delicious peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich on toast?
However, some students (and staff) are allergic to peanuts. Peanuts, for them, can be extremely dangerous, even life-threatening.
We ask that scholars enjoy delicious peanut snacks and treats at home as Harmony DC PCS is a peanut-free zone.
Thank you!
Masks Are Optional/Respect Is Mandatory
We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding our school’s COVID-19 protocols. After careful consideration and in line with the guidance provided by local health authorities, we have made the decision to remove the mask mandate for our students, staff, and visitors.
