A Message from Mrs. Spisich
I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the week! I was fortunate to spend Sunday through Tuesday at an EdLeadership conference with some members of the Chelsea School District, thanks to our partnership with CEF. We did a lot of great learning around our district’s Portrait of a Graduate and returned with some exciting new ideas! We started our Friday at South with some high fives and greetings from the CHS Varsity Football players this morning. It was a great way to start! As for the weekend, I’ll be cheering on my kids at their soccer games and attending a few birthday parties. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Building Information
The Power of Good Attendance
Attending school regularly is key to your child’s success. Consistent attendance helps them stay on track with learning, build strong friendships, and feel connected to their school community. Every day matters, and we appreciate your efforts to make sure your child is here and ready to learn. Together, we can help them thrive!
Halloween Fun at South Meadows
We're excited to kick off Halloween with an outdoor parade around the building at 8:15 AM! Parents are welcome to line the perimeter of the school to watch and enjoy the fun. We'll make a full lap, so you can stand anywhere around the building for a great view. If the parade needs to be canceled due to weather, an email will be sent by 7:40 AM.
Please note that parents are invited to the parade only. Afterward, students will participate in school-wide stations led by our support staff and community partners, like the Chelsea District Library. We’ll end the day with a Mad Science assembly, thanks to our generous PTO!
While we celebrate this holiday as a school, there will be many other opportunities for parents to volunteer in classrooms at future events. We can’t wait to see you at the parade!
Conference Sign Up
Parent teacher conferences are just around the corner! We are looking forward to having you all in the building on either November 7th or November 14th. Please click here to sign up for fall conferences!
Lost and Found
Do Any of These Belong to You? Our lost and found is overflowing with sweatshirts! Could one of them be yours? Encourage your child to stop by and check!
P.O.G
Our Portrait of a Graduate (P.O.G) highlights the essential skills and attributes we believe are crucial for preparing students for the future. Created through a collaborative effort between the Chelsea School District and our community, the P.O.G serves as a guiding framework for our work and decision-making across the district.
