About the Community Health Needs Assessment
Pursuant to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), hospital facilities must perform a community health needs assessment every three years and adopt an implementation strategy to meet the community health needs identified.
Who can participate in a Focus Group?
The focus groups are open to any adult age 18+ who lives or works in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's or Talbot counties.
What is expected of me in the Focus Group?
As a focus group participant, you are expected to actively listen to others, share your honest opinions and experiences related to the topic at hand, answer open-ended questions thoughtfully, and contribute to the discussion by expressing your perspective, even if it differs from others while respecting the facilitator's guidance and creating a comfortable environment for all participants to share openly.
How do I register for a Focus Group?
Visit this link to register. You will be emailed a link to join your selected online focus group about one week before the event date.
