GBP's Day of Fun at Banshee Reeks TOMORROW and School/Individual Pics
Happy gorgeous Saturday! We are so thankful for the sunshine!! The firefighters came to visit GBP on Thursday and we look forward to seeing them again on October 16th for our MW/Bees crew! The firefighters from Station 20 showed our Sunbeams what they look like in all their gear, practiced STOP, DROP (cover your face) and ROLL and gave us a tour of the truck!! Thanks Station 20!!
New month-new color/shape/number and SHINE SESH! In October, we concentrate on the color orange, the square and the number 2. In our October SHINE SESH, we learned about staying in our own space by reading "Harrison Spader, Personal Space Invader" by Christianne Jones. We then practiced keeping our hands and feet to ourselves, so we're not SPACE INVADERS. If a student or teacher says, "Space Invader", everyone puts their hands in their laps (together in front of them) and feet together. A reminder to keep our bodies in our own personal space bubbles.
Picture Day is Monday (MW 2s, MWF 3 and Bees) and Tuesday (T/TH 2s and 3s, Owls). We love having Ms. Blaire from Second Ave Photography, she is a wonder!!! More information below!
GBP's Day of Nature Fun at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve is TOMORROW! Registration closes at 9am tomorrow! More information below!
October Lunch Bunch sign up can be found below.
Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.
-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm
-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm
