Our Science Bowl team had a stellar run at the PanTex Science Bowl, going undefeated into the final round and finishing strong in 2nd and 4th place. Proud of their hard work and grit. Now on to UIL Science and the Regional Science Fair!

We are so proud of or All-Stater! Elijah Jones had a great week of rehearsals and a truly spectacular performance at the the TMEA Conference. This is exactly the kid you want representing your band program and your school! We are proud to claim him as a Westerner!!

Congratulations to Jaxon Russell and Maddie Peña on both winning Silver at the State Wrestling tournament!! We are proud of them and all of our Wrestlers this weekend who competed with the best in our great State!

The Doyle Vogler Memorial Scholarship honors a longtime teacher and administrator in Lubbock ISD. Vogler touched the lives of countless students and staff over his 30-year career in the district. He was passionate about the district’s mission of nurturing, developing, and inspiring every child, every day and was deeply committed to educational equity for all students.

These $2,500 scholarships are awarded to support the educational goals of Lubbock ISD students that embody the Lubbock ISD mission, vision, and values.
