New This Week
RHS Student Newsletter
Our weekly student produced newsletters will resume next week.
Updates to the RHS Calendar
We've had a few updates to the RHS Yearly Calendar. Charity Week was moved to the first week of semester two to avoid conflict with Dance Nationals. Also, the two remaining theatre productions dates have been set. All changes have been updated on the website calendar and RHS Yearly Calendar (which can be found in the documents section below). Changes are in yellow. More information regarding Charity Week will be shared next week.
Finals Week
Reminder that the first semester finals week is January 16-19. The exam week schedule is located on page two of the RHS Bell Schedule (available on the RHS website or in the documents section below).
Staffing Updates
We've had three of our staff members taking the next steps in their lives; we're thankful for their time in Romeo and wish them the best. Of course, these individuals will need to be replaced and we've been fortunate to have found some wonderful people to join our staff:
- Mrs. Katherine Ellerbrock (Social Studies): Mrs. Ellerbrock is a Romeo resident and parent who will be coming to us from Lakeview. Mrs. Ellerbrock brings a tremendous amount of skill and experience and will be wonderful addition and asset to our school. She will be joining us starting second semester
- Mr. Luke Heide (PE/Health): Mr. Heide recently graduated and received his teaching certificate, so Romeo will be his first full time teaching assignment. Mr. Heide comes highly recommended and we're looking forward to have him on our staff. Mr. Heide will also start with us second semester
- Mrs. Sarah Pile and Mr. Evan Pile (EMT) - Mrs. Pile was our EMT teachers for many years and moved to the college level of teaching two years ago. Mrs. Pile, and her husband Mr. Pile, will be teaching our EMT class for the remainder of the school year. We're thankful to have them back for the remainder of this year.
