🎒✏️ Welcome Back, Cheetahs! ✏️🎒
It's almost time to welcome all of our Cheetahs BACK TO SCHOOL! 🐾
Our theme for the school year is...
🌱🌺 Together, we grow the good! 🪴🌸
Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 21st and will be a full day for students (8:45am-3:45pm). Staff will be outside by 8:30am to help students start lining up. As you arrive, please look for the teacher's name on the signs and have your student(s) line up near the sign.
All Kindergarten and 1st graders will enter and exit through Door #9. All 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will enter and exit through Door #1 (the main entrance).
Please remember that arrival/drop-off procedures will be in place, so there will be no parking allowed in front of the school property or in the back lot. If you would like to walk your student up, please plan to park in St. Luke's parking lot across Cochise. **Please do not park in any private driveways, including the Pastor of St. Luke's.
If you have any questions about arrival/dismissal procedures, please feel free to contact the school at (630) 588-5400.
🚗 Arrival & Pick-up Procedures 🚗
As a reminder, when school begins, please follow the traffic flow when dropping off and/or picking up your student(s). This is done for the safety of all students. If you would like to walk up with your child or meet them at the door, please utilize the parking lot at St. Luke's. There is no parking anywhere in front of the school on Sioux Lane during student arrival and dismissal. We will be utilizing the entire walkway to load and unload students from cars. The back parking lot is for staff and buses only. Please click on the map for a larger image of the traffic flow and remember that Sioux is a one-way street during this time.
***New This Year***
- There is no parking anywhere in front of the school, including in front of the steps. This is a no parking zone and we will be utilizing it for arrival/pickup.
- For the safety of our students and families, students will remain near the building until their ride has arrived.
- All families will be provided with a name tag to display on the front passenger side visor. This name tag will come home with your child after the first day of school, so please check his/her backpack.
- As cars arrive, school staff will be directing them to a numbered spot (signs will mark Pickup Zones 1 through 6)
- Patrol teams will assist students to the designated zones for pick-up.
NOTE: St. Luke's generously allows us to use their parking lot. Please respect their landscaping by walking on sidewalks.
🍦 PTA Ice Cream Social 🍦
Please consider joining us on Friday, August 23rd right after school for an Ice Cream Social on the blacktop located behind the school. Parking will be available at St. Luke's.
We hope to see you there!

Please Consider joining our Watch DOGS Program at CS for the 2024-2025 School Year!
We are excited to continue our Watch DOGS program for the 2024-2025 school year! This is a nationwide program that many schools utilize to help provide positive male role models for students while also providing an extra set of eyes and ears, teaming with us to keep all children safe and feeling important.
We are seeking male role models (dads, uncles, grandpas, big brothers, etc.) to sign up and commit to a day of the week/time to come into our building to interact with our students. If you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Romano at (630) 588-5400.
