Tardy Students
If your child is late to school and will be entering through the front office, he or she must be accompanied by an adult until signed in. Safety is always a priority.
Attention Middle School Families - Don't forget your Combination Locks
All students in grades 7 and 8 will need a combination lock for their PE lockers.
ASA's Meal Program / Please Submit Application
Dear ASA families,
Complete the Meal Application to assist with maximizing LCFF funding. A portion of every schoolβs funding and other resources are determined by certain characteristics of its students, one of which is need. To assist in demonstrating that need, all families at ASA are requested to submit a completed Income Survey Form, to be made available on our site.
By completing the form, you will help our school reach the goal of maximizing funding to support our studentsβ academic successes and creating equitable learning environments. If you have any questions regarding this information or about the school meal program, contact Food Services via phone or email.
For the 2023-2024 school year, meals will be served at no cost to the students regardless of their eligibility

From the Health Office
Please read THIS letter from our Health Office. The documents for those in grades K will be sent home this week.
π₯ͺ π π₯ π§Treats and Other Items
π§ Water Bottles
Please send a refillable water bottle with your wolf daily being sure their name is on it. The school is unable to provide water bottles for students. Thank you!
π Medication on Campus
Please note that only students with a medication form signed by a doctor and turned in to the Health Office are permitted to carry medication on their person. The form must specify that the student may carry the medication with them during the school day.
π Early Student Pick Up
When possible, please refrain from picking up your Wolf during recess, lunch or the last hour of school. Please make an appointment in advance so we can have your Wolf ready upon your arrival.
π Please Do Not Block Driveways
When dropping off and picking up your wolves, please remember to be mindful and respectful of our neighbors and their homes and do not block their driveways.
Mandarin / Grades 6 - 8
ASA is offering students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to continue building on their Mandarin skills by offering a Mandarin course. This course will take place M-Th from 7:00am - 7:50am. Space is limited. Please sign up by Tuesday, August 15 by 3:00. Ms. Janice will notify students and families by Thursday, August 17 if they are able to participate in this program. Please contact Ms. Janice at janice.lien@asathrive.org for more information.

Having Breakfast on Campus?
If your wolf will be eating breakfast on campus, he/she may arrive at 7:30 am and enter through the front office doors.
Morning Drop Off
Just a friendly reminder that students are not permitted to be dropped off before 7:45 am unless they are having breakfast on campus.

Share your Photos with ASA!
Do you have great photos or video clips of ASA events to share? We are always on the lookout for the best photos and videos to help showcase our school programs and community!
Please email your best photos and video clips to MEDIA@ASATHRIVE.ORG. Please include the event name and date to help us organize the photos and video submissions.
In Need of ASA Dress Code Items?
Our generous ASA families have donated some gently used clothing. If your wolf is in need of items that are to be worn during the school day, please email info@asathrive.org and provide us with his/her shirt and pant size and we'll see if we can help!
Report an Absence

What happens with students' lost items?
Lost & Found items are located near the main double gates at the front of the campus. Parents/guardians are permitted to come on campus to look for lost items but must check in and out with the front office. Please label your child's belongings.
Items left unclaimed by August 25th will be donated.

All Parents/Guardians have been provided with information on how to log on to their ASA Parent Portal. This allows you to have real- time access to your child's current grades and attendance.

Need to Visit the Front Office?
If you need to drop something off or pick your wolf up early, please make an appointment using the link below so we are prepared for your visit.
Special Note: The office door is locked for everyone's safety. Please knock when you arrive. If we don't answer right away, it is because we are on the phone. We appreciate your patience.
- It is difficult for us to locate students during recess and lunchtime, so please refrain from picking them up during these hours. See the ASA Bell Schedule HERE.
- Important Notice: Please do not use this app if you need to make an appointment with someone on our Admin team. Call the front office for these requests at (909) 465-5405.
