If your child is late to school and will be entering through the front office, he or she must be accompanied by an adult until signed in. Safety is always a priority.

All students in grades 7 and 8 will need a combination lock for their PE lockers.

Dear ASA families,

Complete the Meal Application to assist with maximizing LCFF funding. A portion of every school’s funding and other resources are determined by certain characteristics of its students, one of which is need. To assist in demonstrating that need, all families at ASA are requested to submit a completed Income Survey Form, to be made available on our site.

By completing the form, you will help our school reach the goal of maximizing funding to support our students’ academic successes and creating equitable learning environments. If you have any questions regarding this information or about the school meal program, contact Food Services via phone or email.

For the 2023-2024 school year, meals will be served at no cost to the students regardless of their eligibility

Please read THIS letter from our Health Office. The documents for those in grades K will be sent home this week.

Please refrain from dropping items off for your child whether it be food, drinks, or other items. Lunches and water bottles should already be in your child's back pack before they get to school. Treats are not allowed on special occasions, holidays, or birthdays. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. The office is unable to deliver items brought in during the school day.

Please send a refillable water bottle with your wolf daily being sure their name is on it. The school is unable to provide water bottles for students. Thank you!

Please note that only students with a medication form signed by a doctor and turned in to the Health Office are permitted to carry medication on their person. The form must specify that the student may carry the medication with them during the school day.

When possible, please refrain from picking up your Wolf during recess, lunch or the last hour of school. Please make an appointment in advance so we can have your Wolf ready upon your arrival.

ASA Bell Schedule

When dropping off and picking up your wolves, please remember to be mindful and respectful of our neighbors and their homes and do not block their driveways.

ASA is offering students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to continue building on their Mandarin skills by offering a Mandarin course. This course will take place M-Th from 7:00am - 7:50am. Space is limited. Please sign up by Tuesday, August 15 by 3:00. Ms. Janice will notify students and families by Thursday, August 17 if they are able to participate in this program. If your wolf will be eating breakfast on campus, he/she may arrive at 7:30 am and enter through the front office doors.

Just a friendly reminder that students are not permitted to be dropped off before 7:45 am unless they are having breakfast on campus.

Do you have great photos or video clips of ASA events to share? We are always on the lookout for the best photos and videos to help showcase our school programs and community!

Please email your best photos and video clips to MEDIA@ASATHRIVE.ORG. Please include the event name and date to help us organize the photos and video submissions.

Our generous ASA families have donated some gently used clothing. If your wolf is in need of items that are to be worn during the school day, please email info@asathrive.org and provide us with his/her shirt and pant size and we'll see if we can help!

Lost & Found items are located near the main double gates at the front of the campus. Parents/guardians are permitted to come on campus to look for lost items but must check in and out with the front office. Please label your child's belongings.

Items left unclaimed by August 25th will be donated.

All Parents/Guardians have been provided with information on how to log on to their ASA Parent Portal. This allows you to have real- time access to your child's current grades and attendance.

Special Note: The office door is locked for everyone's safety. Please knock when you arrive. If we don't answer right away, it is because we are on the phone. We appreciate your patience.
