Weekly News from Principal Ginn
Prospectors,
I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to our Apache Junction Community for your unwavering support of our school, particularly during our recent senior interviews. Your presence and involvement made a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your dedication to our students' success.
Senior interviews are a crucial part of our students' journey, and your support made them even more meaningful. Here are some reasons why senior interviews are so important:
Preparation for the Future: Senior interviews provide students with valuable experience in professional settings, helping them prepare for college, job interviews, and other opportunities after graduation.
Confidence Building: Going through interviews boosts students' confidence and self-esteem, empowering them to articulate their strengths and goals effectively.
Feedback and Growth: Constructive feedback from community members like you helps students identify areas for improvement and encourages personal and academic growth.
Community Engagement: Your participation in senior interviews demonstrates the community's investment in our students' futures, fostering a sense of belonging and support.
Your willingness to volunteer your time and expertise for our students does not go unnoticed. Together, we are shaping the future leaders of our community, and your support is invaluable every step of the way.
Once again, thank you for your continued support of Apache Junction High School. We look forward to many more successful endeavors together.

Senior Cap and Gowns
Seniors and Senior Families!
Most seniors have their cap and gown. However, if you do not, Jostens will be on campus Tuesday, May 14th at lunch delivering caps and gowns in the auditorium lobby (that have been ordered). If you have ordered, great! Please bring a photo id for pickup.
Online ordering for caps and gowns has been shut off.
If you have not yet ordered, Jostens will have some extras (first come, first serve style) for sale. Please note, this is the last time Jostens will be on campus this year. If you miss Jostens on this day and need to purchase, please visit the Jostens office Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm to purchase/pickup.
Payment in cash only on delivery day = $70.
Congratulations,
Cindy Serrano

Check your Chromebook!
Seniors! Please check your Chromebook for damage. If you see anything that needs to be fixed, turn it into IT for repair now. This avoids any last-minute charges on your account preventing you from walking in commencement. Thank you!

Stop the Bleed Training
Last week, our teachers were trained by Stop the Bleed. During the training, they were given the ABCs of helping someone facing a life-threatening bleeding injury. While we hope to never have to use the training, we are thankful that the company helped us ensure that teachers are ready to help with accidents.
Dress Code Reminders
We must stay mindful of our student dress code as the weather heats up. Student tops should have straps and cover the stomach. No tube tops or strapless tops are permitted. Students violating the dress code can call home for a change of clothes or borrow a shirt from the nurse for the day. Thank you for your help!
