Checking in with Mrs Dannemiller!
We have had a lot of fun learning about new authors of the month in library this year! In January, we studied Ohio native, Loren Long. Mrs. Dannemiller’s personal favorite children’s author, Mo Willems, was the highlight of February, and in March we read all things Dr. Seuss! We will be celebrating National Poetry Month in library this April, studying the works of Shel Silverstein.
Spring Scholastic Book Fair
April will also be the Spring Book Fair! The fair will be open Monday, April 21- Friday, April 25th. The spring bookfair website is now live and accepting ewallets and volunteer signups. Click on

Clothing Reminder
Please ensure your child keeps a spare set of clothes in their book bag (shirt, socks, underwear, pants, and shoes). With spills, recess, and accidents, having extras will help tremendously. Thank you for your support!
Birthday Treat & Holiday Party Reminder
To ensure the safety of all our students, we kindly ask that any birthday or holiday treats brought to school be prepackaged or purchased from a source where nutritional information can be verified online. For example, treats from Dunkin' Donuts allow us to look up ingredients and nutritional facts.
This policy helps us accommodate students with food allergies, diabetes, and other health concerns, making celebrations safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Important Transportation Update for 2025-2026 School Year
Beginning next school year (2025-2026), students will have a consistent, one-way transportation arrangement home from school to ensure their safety and simplify tracking. Families will need to select one primary transportation method for their child: riding the bus home, being picked up in the car loop, or walking home.
Please note that CHIPP Early Release Fridays will remain an exception to this policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to create a safe and efficient dismissal process for all students!
