Exciting News: Transition in Leadership at Burbank High School
Dear Students, Parents, and Staff of Burbank High School,
I hope this letter finds you well and filled with anticipation for the exciting news I have to share. As some of you may already know, I will be transitioning from my role as principal of Burbank High School, but fear not, as I am not going far! I will be working at the Burbank Unified School District office as the new Director of Student Services.
I am delighted to announce that our very own Assistant Principal, Narineh Barzegar, will be stepping into the role of principal. Ms. Barzegar has been an integral part of our school community for many years, demonstrating unwavering dedication, leadership, and a profound commitment to the success and well-being of our students.
With her extensive experience, exceptional leadership skills, and deep understanding of our school's values and culture, I have every confidence that Ms. Barzegar will continue to lead Burbank High School with excellence and compassion.
To our students: I know many of you already have meaningful relationships with Ms. Barzegar, so I am confident that you all will embrace this change and welcome her as your new school leader. Ms. Barzegar is here to support you, guide you, and help you thrive in every aspect of your academic journey.
To our parents: Please rest assured that Ms. Barzegar will maintain open lines of communication and foster a collaborative partnership between home and school, ensuring the success of every student.
To our staff: I have the utmost faith in Ms. Barzegar's ability to lead our dedicated team with grace, integrity, and a shared vision for the future of our school.
As for me, although I may be stepping into a different role, I am not saying goodbye. I will still be a familiar face around the school, participating in senior events, and continuing to support our students in any way I can. My commitment to the Burbank High School community remains unwavering.
Please join me in congratulating Ms. Narineh Barzegar on her new role as principal of Burbank High School. Together, let us embark on this new chapter with enthusiasm, unity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school.
Warm regards,
Julie Markussen
