A Message From Mrs. Landrum

Happy Friday Aragon Families,

Welcome back! It has been an amazing first week of the 2024-2025 school year. We enjoyed seeing many families at our Popsicles on the Playground event! Our next event is Back to School Night on Thursday, August 22. Doors will open at 4:00pm and families will have the opportunity to meet grade-level teams, related arts teachers and other Aragon staff members. We are eagerly looking forward to seeing our students again on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend!

A Message From Nurse Wendy

Parents/Guardians,

I am so excited to be back at Aragon for another amazing school year! As we prepare for the new school year please keep in mind these few things:

Illness: Please keep sick kids at home. If you are not sure whether to send them or not, please do not hesitate to call and ask.

Clothes: Accidents happen whether it’s spilled milk or a ripped shirt and having a change of clothes in your child’s backpack is so helpful and avoids you having to make a trip to the school with clothes.

Medication: All medication including over the counter medicine (and, yes, even cough drops!) has to be brought in to the school by an adult and with the appropriate paperwork, doctor’s orders, treatment plan etc..

I am looking forward to helping all of our students stay healthy this school year!

Out of District and Out of Zone Enrollment Requests

Please check the Fountain Fort Carson District 8 website for the link to the special enrollment request forms. This includes Out of District, Out of Zone, Kindergarten Intent to Enroll and the Kindergarten Questionnaire. Please turn these in to the Aragon front office ASAP!
