The Litchfield Elementary School District #79 offers early entrance kindergarten exception for children if it is determined to be in the best interest of the child. Early kindergarten entrance is available for children who live within the LESD district boundaries ONLY. This also applies to employees of the district.

ParentVUE is a secure web-based information management system that provides parents/guardians the ability to view their child's assignments, grades, attendance, report cards and contact information.

Majority of communication from our school and the Litchfield Elementary School District will come through Parent Square. This will connect directly to the email you provide in our Annual Student Update.

As we approach the start of the 24-25 school year, we want to remind you about the opt-in process for transportation services. It is crucial that you complete the opt-in process to ensure that your child(ren) can access transportation services.

We have partnered with EZRouting, our transportation management system, to streamline the enrollment process. The application now allows access for multiple parents or guardians, enabling them to enroll students for transportation services collectively. This enhancement caters to situations where students reside in separate households, facilitating a more inclusive and convenient enrollment process.

Please plan ahead when booking appointments or vacations. The purple apple and green highlighted areas marked with an X indicate the dates the Litchfield Elementary School District will not be holding classes due to Breaks, Teacher In-Service Days, Holidays, etc. Corte Sierra will also dismiss every Wednesday at 1:00.

TAX CREDIT: HOW DOES IT WORK?

A Tax Credit, which is the dollar-for dollar reduction of your tax liability, is better than a tax deduction, which only reduces your taxable income before taxes are computed.

Instead of sending all your state taxes to the State of Arizona, you can make a contribution to a public school. A.R.S. §43-1089.01 allows taxpayers a TAX CREDIT up to $200.00 for “Single” or “Head of Household” tax filers and up to $400.00 for “Married Couple Filing a Joint Return” when contributing to EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES in public schools. This gives you the opportunity to help your local school. The tax credit is available to all taxpayers, regardless of whether they have children in school. It would be advisable to consult your tax advisor regarding your specific tax status.
