Our team has been working diligently over the summer to prepare a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where every student can thrive. We are committed to fostering a love of learning, building strong relationships, and helping each child reach their fullest potential.
Communication and collaboration with our families are essential to ensuring a successful school year. We encourage you to stay connected with us, participate in school events, and reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for all students.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Here's to a fantastic school year ahead!

Introduction to our New Staff!
Hello I’m Jennie Gilbert. I grew up in Vermont and graduated from Norwich University with my Bachelors of science in Nursing. After traveling a bit we settled down here in Enfield, 12 years ago. The majority of my career was spent in Obstetrics with Medical/Surgical, ICU, and vascular access sprinkled in. This will be my first year of School nursing but I am so excited to join the EVS team.
My name is Mrs. Greene and I’ll be teaching 4th grade at EVS this year. You might recognize my last name, and that’s because my husband is Mr. Greene - former EVS P.E. teacher! Mr. Greene and I live in the Upper Valley with our two one eyed cats, Remy and Pepper. In my free time I love to read, golf, and visit with my nephews. I can’t wait to become an EVS owl!
Miss Kerr, “Maddy” for families, recently moved to Lebanon this past summer to join our family at EVS! Previously, she worked in elementary schools in Vermont after graduating from the University of Vermont. She has been loving getting sweets from the Lebanon Farmer’s market, swimming at Mascoma Lake and Cole Pond, and looks forward to skiing at Storrs Hill. The fall season is her favorite time to go hiking and she and her partner Dan are excited to explore the White Mountains on weekends. Miss Kerr has been preparing for first grade this summer after meeting many of her incoming students at Step Up day. She is so excited to meet all her incoming families soon.
Hello! My name is Nancie O’Connell and I will be substituting for Miranda Shellhammer while she is on maternity leave. I have been teaching for over 20 years most recently in Claremont, NH. I have taught grades K-8th with the most recent being 4th and 5th. I retired at the end of last school year but wanted to continue working with children. I live in Enfield and as a part of the community I am excited to be substituting in my hometown. I enjoy being outside gardening, riding my bike and walking on the rail trail. I have two Great Pyrenees dogs, you may have seen me on the trail! Let your children know that I am fond of random dance parties, believe in the power of “yet,” because my philosophy is that all children can learn, it is my job to help them. I look forward to working with your children.
