What a great start to the school year! We have completed our first three weeks of school and now we are full speed ahead into the month of September! It has brought me extreme joy to see our kids adapting to the campus procedures, dive into the curriculum, and do their part to make school a great place to be for every student! As we partner with you this year to support your child's success it is vital that we have great communication throughout the year. In doing so, our commitment to you is to provide you with timely responses and an open-door policy to address any concerns that may arise. Please see the flow chart and commitments below to ensure the most effective communication practices. Moving forward the Coyote Connections Newsletter will be sent the first Sunday of the month. You will continue to receive weekly newsletters or emails from your child's teachers full of upcoming events and news of that's happening in classes along with updates in ClassDojo. Please remember that there is No School on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. We will see all of our Coyote Ridge students at school on Tuesday, September 3rd!

Update from the Front Office
Effective August 13, 2024, all visitors will be required to show their government-issued ID to the camera prior to entering the building EACH AND EVERY VISIT. Please make sure to plan ahead and have your ID ready for the camera upon ringing the doorbell. Unfortunately, visitors without ID will not be able to enter the building or sign students out even when ID has already been scanned in the system. This does include all volunteers, lunch visitors, room parents, etc. Thank you for your cooperation as we will follow district guidelines to ensure the safety of every student!
Food deliveries from a restaurant or delivery service for students are not permitted under any circumstances. If the district/campus allows lunch deliveries, they may only be made by a student’s parent/guardian unless the parent/guardian has given approval for another designated adult to make a lunch delivery on a specified date and time. Food deliveries must be secured and labeled with the student’s name and grade level as they are dropped off at the office by the parent. Please make sure that any lunch deliveries happen as early in the day as possible so that the office has time to ensure the student is able to access their lunch in time to eat in the cafeteria. Lunch deliveries and lunch visitors will not be accepted during STAAR, TELPAS, or other testing days.
Let's continue to shine and GLOW at Coyote Ridge! This year's theme is Together We GLOW! With your help and support we have done that every single day! Thank you for being awesome Coyote Ridge parents and families! Please remember we are here to help!

We have continued to make great progress on our arrival and dismissal routines third week back! We have been shaving off minutes of time each day. Now that we have found our groove, we have been able to dismiss in less than 12 mins. In order to continue to improve, here are a few poster reminders for support. As a reminder- Parent's may not walk up to collect a student during dismissal. Please use the carline in the afternoon or meet your child at the Maumee crossing guard location, adjacent to the school.
Let’s continue to GLOW by working together!

Helpful tips:
Please be sure Coyote Ridge Elementary is selected for your school. If it is not, we will not be able to see you on our list of approved volunteers.
Note that new fields have been added to the application – if you are volunteering on behalf of a business, civic, or faith-based organization, please be sure to add that information.
Your skill set is asked in order to support classroom instruction, as needed – be sure your skill set is up to date in case we need your particular skills on our campus.
After making any needed changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save application.”
Happy volunteering! 😊
