College Visit to NORTH PARK UNIVERSITY

Monday, November 8

Open to SENIORS who have a GPA of 2.5+ only. Come visit North Park University in Chicago.

This will be an all day field trip for students.

Tour of Lake County Tech Campus

Come tour Tech Campus and see what it is all about! If you are a SOPHOMORE or JUNIOR and interested in what Tech Campus has to offer this is for you.

Tuesday, November 9

4:00 - 7:30 PM

The tour is an overview of different classes offered at Tech Campus and students will have the opportunity to tour the campus and meet the instructors.

Transportation is provided for this after school field trip. Bus will leave from ZBTHS at 4:00 PM and return to ZBTHS at 7:30 PM.

Various College Application Workshops are now being offered for the CLASS of 2022. Workshops open to SENIORS ONLY.

All workshops will be held during PERIODS 4, 5, and 6 in the College & Career Center.

The bus will leave ZB at 8 AM and return approximately 10:15. Students will be marked on a field trip for periods 1-3.

4 Year College Application & Financial Aid PRIORITY DEADLINES

CLICK HERE for a sample of priority dates for both application and financial aid for Fall 2022 4-year college direct enrollment. This applies to the Class of 2022 going directly to the 4 year college.

Students should be doing 2 things at same time in the fall/winter of 12th grade:

Apply for admission
File FAFSA or the IL Alt- in the fall/winter of 12th grade.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a heavily researched and well-respected aptitude test developed by the Department of Defense. It measures strengths and potential for success in military training.

Taking the ASVAB does not obligate you to anything. It is just a test used by the military to determine whether you are qualified to join and what area or areas you would excel in.
