FRIENDLY REMINDERS ABOUT PERSONAL ITEMS
NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES OR PURSES WORN DURING THE DAY
Parents,
We need your help! We know some students got new cell phones, purses, gadgets, and all types of cool stuff for Christmas and their birthdays, while they were out! However, to maximize the learning environment and minimize classroom and student distractions, we will still continue to enforce our district and school policies
No electronic devices may be out, on or in a student's pocket or desk during school hours
No purses may be worn during school hours. no purses or cell phones are allowed in the students' possession during the day.
FRIENDLY REMINDERS:
Electronic devices:
No smart devices or purses can be worn or out during the school day (This includes Apple watches, smart watches, cellphones, cellphone, purses, pouches, etc. They may bring them to school for safety purposes (ex. walkers, bus riders, school emergency etc.), but they may not be taken out their backpacks and must be secured at all times and electronics must be powered off!
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS!
Purses or Carrying cases
Students may not carry purses or wear fanny packs throughout the day. Purses and pouches, fanny packs and other carrying cases, must be stored away, except for emergency/or during bathroom use.
If we see purses/fanny packs or Apple watches being worn or in their pockets, as well as the same for cellphones, any staff member will request for the electronic device to be turned over to them. From there, the students will need to have their parents come and pick it up and pay $15. Electronics are not allowed! We have several students choosing to wear Apple watches, keep their cellphones in their pockets and ringers on! These are distractions to the child, as well as the students and instruction! We are here to learn and students should not have access to their teachers and staff have been instructed to take the items and send them to administrators. Parents will be responsible for or cellphones out hat students have their cellphones out or in their possession, we will confiscate the item. If your child chooses not to hand over the item, then they must report to the office and consequences will be assigned, accordingly.
DEVICES NOT ALLOWED DURING THE INSTRUCTIONAL DAY!
NO PURSES, POUCHES, OR FANNY PACKS CAN BE WORN DURING THE DAY
ZERO TOLERANCE - PLEASE TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN!
PLEASE REVIEW OUR DISTRICT POLICIES TO ENSURE OUR STUDENTS ARE COMPLYING!

ID BADGE REPLACEMENTS
Update
We are waiting on ID Badge replacements from Transportation. We called to get an update and were told that they are on back order! So, your child will be provided a temporary badge. Please make sure they make their teacher aware if your child has lost their ID badge. The teacher will then place their names on the google doc and issue them a temporary ID.
We thank you for your patience.
