Additional Updates
On Monday, April 8, we will experience a partial solar eclipse in our area between 2:04 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. During this time, students and staff should only look up to the sky if wearing certified solar eclipse glasses.- Forthcoming is a plan from Mrs. Asamoah as some students will have the opportunity to experience this during their science classes. Tuesday, April 9th at 6pm will be our PTSA meeting. It will take place in our Auditorium. Please come out to support and provide input as I will present our Budget for SY25.

Hats/Hoodies/Head Gear/Ski Masks are not ALLOWED!!

Additional Updates
Please ensure that you have a pgcps issued chromebook and you bring it to school everyday. Assistance will be provided to students that need to reset their passwords during the lunch period.
ATTENDANCE AND GRADES MATTER
School attendance plays a major part in student achievement. Being chronically absent or missing 10% of the school year (about 18 days) for lawful or unlawful reasons can drastically affect a student’s academic success.
School achievement begins with regular attendance. Parents/guardians must ensure that all school-age children in their care are in school on time daily. Attendance must be taken every day by each teacher, the first 15 minutes of every class.

TESTING UPDATES FROM Ms. Bianca Kennon-Testing Coordinator
SY24 Testing Calendar (State and County)
- Senior MCAP testing will be on Tuesday and Thursday, 4/9 and 4/11 at 10:00 am in the Media Center. Seniors should have received an email if they have to take the MCAP exam.
- Final week for the students to take the MSDE Survey in their English class. This survey is a very important part of the school's report card. Make sure your scholar was able to participate.
- The ASVAB exam will be given on Tuesday at 11:45 am in the ROTC wing. Students (10th-12th grade) that registered to take the exam need to eat FIRST LUNCH.
