GRADUATION and SCHOOL FEES
Cap and Gown will NOT be issued to students whose fees are not paid in full by May 15th.
EDGENUITY CREDIT RECOVERY CLASSES
If your senior is enrolled in an Edgenuity credit recovery class, please be advised that all Edgenuity courses MUST be completed by May 15th. Failure to complete an Edgenuity class will keep a student from earning their diploma in time to participate in commencement.
SEMESTER TWO CLASSES and US GOVT AND ECONOMICS
To earn a high school diploma, a student must:
Earn all required credits
Earn a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0
Earn a passing score (3-5) on the required statewide, standardized assessments or concordant score
Concordant Scores:
FSA ELA
- Earn a level 3 or higher on the FSA or FSAA ELA
- Earn an average of a 17.5 or higher for BOTH the Reading & English ACT test sections.
- Earn a concordant score of 480 or higher on the EBRW portion of the SAT test.
Algebra EOC
- Earn a level 3 or higher on the FSA or FSAA Algebra EOC Exam.
- Earn a level 3 or higher on the FSA or FSAA Geometry EOC Exam.
- Earn a concordant score of 16 or higher on Math portion of the ACT test.
- Earn a concordant score of 420 or higher on Math portion of the SAT test.
- Earn a concordant score of 430 or higher on Math portion of the PSAT NMSQT 10th grade or higher test.
Certificate of Completion - This is NOT a high school diploma
- A student may receive a standard Certificate of Completion when he/she completes the course requirements for graduation, but is unable to meet one or more of the following:
- Passing score on the required statewide, standardized assessments or concordant score.
- Cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.0.
- A student who receives a standard Certificate of Completion may participate in the graduation ceremonies with his or her class.
- A student who receives a Certificate of Completion due to missing test scores, and has met all other graduation requirements, including the GPA requirement, may start classes at Broward College, however, the student would be ineligible for financial aid until they have earned a Standard High School Diploma.
Students who do not successfully earn all required credits are not permitted to paricipate graduation ceremonies.
SENIOR BEACH DAY is FRIDAY, MAY 17th. There is NO charge for this event.
- ALL attending students must report to school at the regular time. Buses will return for a 2:30pm departure from school.
- ALL attending students must ride the bus to and from Beach Day.
- NO student drivers for Beach Day. Students who disregard this rule will NOT be permitted to join this school event.
- Food and drink will be provided.
- NO open water bottles will be permitted.
- Hats and SUNSCREEN are a MUST
- Students are asked to dress appropriately and modestly.
- ALL STUDENTS MUST SUBMIT A BEACH DAY PERMISSION SLIP
- PLEASE, bring towels, blankets and beach games !!

Kindergarten Graduation
- Senior buddies are asked to accompany their Kinder Buddy for Kinder Graduation on June 7th. More details to come.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: ALL school obligations, including the $225 graduation fee, MUST be paid in full no later than MAY 15, 2024. Students with outstanding balances will not permitted to participate in Commencement.

Seniors are asked to park in bus loop for the event. Seniors must depart campus at the end of the school day and return for the event.

COLLEGE T-SHIRT AND JEANS ON FRIDAY, MAY 10th.
Please - NO shorts, or yoga pants!!
