Chadwick Boseman
Chadwick A. Boseman, Howard alumnus and namesake of the College of Fine Arts. Boseman is best known for his iconic role as T'Challa/Black Panther in Marvel Studios' blockbuster "Black Panther," actor and playwright.
Boseman is also known for his portrayal of Jackie Robinson in '42', James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall.
Amanda Gorman
Amanda Gorman is the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history, as well as an award-winning writer and cum laude graduate of Harvard University, where she studied Sociology. She has written for the New York Times and has three books forthcoming with Penguin Random House.
Hank Aaron
Henry Louis Aaron, aka "Hammer" or "Hammerin' Hank", was an American professional baseball right fielder who played 23 seasons in Major League Baseball, from 1954 through 1976.
Aaron still holds three MLB records: career runs batted in, career total bases, and career extra-base hits. Aaron was also elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982.
