February is flying and we are 13 days away from a DEADLINE! Yes, 13 days away from COACHING Check 2 needing to be submitted. Take time now to ensure you are on pace to meet this due date. Peer coaching is at the heart of what we are all about. Keep up all the great work you are doing with coaching!... and don't miss the deadline to turn in COACHING CHECK 2 by FEB 28. Here is a reminder of the COACHING EXPECTATIONS.

I am so amazed at the number of applications we received for Mini-Grants. Our Vanguard members are doing such great things at their schools. We are beginning the process to evaluate each application. I can't wait to share the results with everyone. Please be patient while we work through all the applications.

Microsoft Teams (Office 365 app) has been enabled for students. This is really exciting news! Mindy Ramon has scheduled 30 min. info sessions over the next week for Vanguard. Please join one of the sessions listed below to get more information about how a class Team works with students. The link will connect you to Skype for Business online. You may be prompted to install the Web App. You will enter your name and then click Join.

This academy will be held on Saturday, March 3 from 9:00-2:30 at Riverwood High School. Spend the day learning about OneNote, Sway, Teams, Forms, Skype and earn this special badge.

Please continue to monitor your points earned this semester at https://goo.gl/aWPZ3n. Take a minute, click through, and take a look at the column headers. All of the assignments and point values for the rest of the semester are now posted. I’ve also labeled certain assignments as optional. Just to be clear, everything not marked optional is, well, required.

All remaining content will be published to the iTunes U course over the next couple weeks, and next week’s assignment will be published tomorrow. I’ll make an announcement in Teams when it’s available. We have six weeks remaining before Spring Break, and the expectation is that you will all complete the course before then. For those of you eager for additional points, you will be able to earn 20 bonus points for completing an additional full coaching cycle with your coachee after Spring Break. Details on that to come later.

There will be one more new member call in March focused on coaching Q&A. If you have questions in the mean time, please post them to the new member Team so everyone can benefit from the answers.
