Beanstack - Winter Reading Challenge
All students have been enrolled in our WFMS Winter Bingo Challenge in Beanstack! Encourage your students to complete the activities and log books and minutes they've read in Beanstack from now until December 20. When students have a Bingo (4 badges in a row, any direction), they can come to the Library Media Center to receive a prize! If a student completes every badge on their Bingo Card, they will receive a Grand Prize!
Ask your students about what they are reading, and encourage them to participate!

Join New Caney ISD Tuesday, December 5, at 6 p.m. for a Christmas Parade! There will be more than 25 floats, including Santa Claus. We would love to see our Falcon Family all together, cheering on our WFMS float!

Teacher Spotlight
Mrs. Verlener Allen
Hi! My name is Verlener Allen. I teach Investigating Careers and this is my 6th year teaching. I worked in the corporate sector for over 25 years.
I have been married for 33 years, come December 29th. I have 2 children. A 29 year old daughter and a 20 year old son.
I am very active in church and I love fashion!
Mrs. Linda Rogers
Dedicated to shaping young minds for the past 19 years, I've found fulfillment as both a teacher and coach in the field of education. My recent years at WFMS have been particularly rewarding, marking it as the best professional environment I've had the privilege to contribute to. Outside the classroom, I share my passion for education with my husband, who is not only a high school teacher but also a basketball coach. Beyond the realm of academia, my heart belongs to my family, and my downtime is filled with moments of togetherness. Nature is my sanctuary, and you'll often find me immersed in the tranquility of gardening or engaging in the exhilaration of outdoor sports.
Mr. Daniel Work
My name is Daniel Work. This is my 8th year here at Woodridge Forest teaching Texas History. I graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2015 with a degree in History. I have truly grown to love my Falcon Family over the years as they have both helped me celebrate and been a support for me when needed. I look forward to another excellent year here at Woodridge where we will continue to Lead the Way.
