Save the Date! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Copper Creek October 15-22, 2024. We need lots of volunteers to make our library fundraiser a great success. Vision and hearing screenings began last month. If a student had difficulty with any part of the vision testing, they are screened a second time. If the results are the same after a second screening, a referral for a complete vision exam will be sent home. You will be notified by email when the referral is sent so you will be sure to check your child’s backpack or folder for it!

Hearing screening is a longer process. Children can fail an initial hearing screening for several reasons such as colds or allergies, so a second screening is conducted two weeks later. Parents will be notified if a child has failed two hearing screenings. Information regarding a free examination by our district audiologist will be provided.

We do our best to ensure that your child can see and hear classroom instruction, and most importantly YOU when you’re speaking to them at home!
