Hawk Happenings!
Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy
Happy Wednesday!
I want to thank you all so much for everything you do to make Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy such a special place. I am so in awe of the work done by our parents and volunteers. From the auction crew to all of the parents who assisted Nina with the Staff Appreciation Day last week to the volunteers covering play practice to helping with our sprinkler system and mowing the field, we couldn't do it without you. I feel so blessed to have such an amazingly dedicated group of families to partner with as we work hard to provide an incredible education in a wonderful, faith-filled environment.
Recently, I was in a meeting about the future of HR Church and Parish and the leadership team from the Seattle Archdiocese commented on how well our school is doing. They were so impressed with our program and our mission and that we are growing our student body, in spite of the challenges faced by the church. They are very pleased with the work we are all doing and value Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy. While we do not yet know the future of the church/parish, the future looks very bright for our school thanks to outstanding people like you. So, once again, thank you for all you do. You are truly a blessing!

Auction Update!
Thank you to all that attended, volunteered, and dressed for the occasion at our Kentucky Derby Auction on May 4th. With your generous giving, our community raised $65,000 after expenses, to support our students!
Our fund-an-item was for ¡Libros, Musica, Tecnología! Thank you for improving our students’ learning experience with much needed new curriculum materials, Spanish language books for classroom libraries, musical instruments, technology, and soccer goals. We raised $21,000 in the room that evening for this fund. This year, we were blessed with matching funds ($15,000) that will be applied to our fund-an-item for tuition assistance increasing the amount raised to $36,000.
A huge thank you to the Auction Committee and to those that took on lead roles to make the auction a major success. Many thanks to all of the volunteers that made the evening a major success too.
