Halloween Celebrations at Hudson School District

Hudson School District was in the holiday spirit yesterday with events celebrating Halloween at all of our schools! Check out some of the highlights down below from throughout the day.

Bringing the Magic to Hills Garrison

On Wednesday morning, the Hills Garrison Elementary community gathered to take part in a walking rally throughout the halls thanks to the Magic Wheelchair organization. The group comprised of University of New Hampshire students selected HGES fourth grader, Bryce Flaven, as an honoree who received a special costume that was designed to fit his wheelchair. With family and friends watching, Bryce toured the hallways at Hills Garrison showing off his custom Halloween costume.

REMINDER: No School Tuesday for Professional Development/Election Day

As a quick reminder, school will not be in session this coming Tuesday, November 5th due to a professional development day and the general election.

Hudson Memorial School Blood Drive Nov. 13

Hudson Memorial School will be hosting a blood drive coming up on November 13 at their multi-purpose activity room at 1 Memorial Drive. If you would like to donate or want to forward along the information, please refer to the flyer below.

Where to Find Information in the District

This Past Week at Hudson School District

Nottingham West preschoolers got a visit from musician Steve Blunt this week who played some Halloween themed songs for everyone to enjoy.

Early Learning Center students took part in an engaging spider web discussion.

On Saturday, the district held its first Hudson University classes for mentor teachers supporting newly hired teachers. Topics included student engagement, motivation, universal design for learning (UDL), and inquiry-based learning.
