Coloma Junior High
Week of December 2nd
Level Up!
We were so excited last week to provide all of our students with our new Level Up t-shirts courtesy of Honor Credit Union. T-shirts were provided to celebrate the amount of growth that our building demonstrated on our state assessments. We are so proud of their hard work and growth!
We look forward to wearing our t-shirts throughout the year for school wide events as we continue to push hard to Level UP to the next level!
3 Weeks Remaining in the Semester
As we conclude the Thanksgiving Break, we have three weeks left in the semester. Students will be required to complete some type of final assessment in all classes. The assessment may be a project, unit/chapter test or cumulative test. Teachers will reach out to inform students and families about the specific expectations for each class.
You can support your student by engaging in discussions about their preparation for the end of the semester. It is beneficial for students to develop a study plan outlining which classes they need to focus on and the timeline for their study sessions.
Responsibility Passes
All students are issued 4 responsibility passes at the start of each marking period. These passes can be used when a student forgets an item for class, is in need of charging their Chromebook or a loaner Chromebook, or needs to use the restroom during class.
Students are able to purchase additional Responsibility Passes for 5 care cards by emailing Mrs. Swift at cswift@ccs.coloma.org. Mrs. Swift will make arrangements with the student to obtain their additional responsibility passes.
