Principal's Announcements
AGMS Back to School Night
Thank you to all our parents who attended our Back to School Night last night. I hope you got a glimpse into a day in the life of your child, and were able to see some of the wonderful things happening here at AGMS!
If you were unable to join us, please check out the Schoology pages for your child's classes to see the information that was shared.
September 11 Remembrance
Next Wednesday, September 11, we will recognize this significant day in our nation's history. On this solemn anniversary, we remember the lives lost and the profound impact of the events that occurred on September 11, 2001. It is an opportunity to reflect on the values of courage, unity, and resilience that emerged from that day.
In our school, we will be observing September 11 with a focus on respectful remembrance and age-appropriate education. Our activities will aim to help students understand the importance of this day in a manner that is sensitive to their developmental stage. There will be a special announcement during our morning TV, a school-wide moment of silence at 8:46 am, the time the first plane hit the World Trade Center, and specific lessons in our Social Studies classes.
If your child is unfamiliar with the events surrounding September 11, you may consider talking with them prior to next Wednesday. Thank you for your partnership.
