Good evening BES families,
Tomorrow is our first day of school, beginning at 9 am with our doors opening at 8:45 for breakfast. Dismissal is at 4 pm with parent pickup on front and bus loading in our back parking lot. Remember the first day only, parents can walk their students to class. On day 2 and beyond, we have adults and student safeties stationed in the hallway to help kiddos find their way to class and breakfast. We promise it's harder on the parents than the students so quick wave and squeeze and off they go! We are beyond excited to get this school year started!
Thank you to all of the families that were able to make it out to the Open House last night. We had a lot of ecstatic eagles visit last night and check out their room, the updates to our building and meet their teachers. Also a big thank you to the groups that joined us such as our PTA, Sports Boosters, MOPS, Club B, Scouts, Voice for Children and the MET group! A huge shoutout also goes to the Eagle Cove community here in Byron for all of the wonderful school supplies they donated to our students! It truly takes a village (See above picture).
See everyone tomorrow morning bright and early! We are excited to start the year and see the growth of our Eagles!
