Slaybaugh School Complex

Dear Slaybaugh Families,

We were very happy to greet our students for five days of in-person learning with a full day schedule. The students as well as the teachers were excited to return. It is hard to believe that it has been over a year since we have had some semblance of normalcy in our schools.

With the weather becoming warmer, we will be able to spend more time outside and give our students lots of mask breaks.

Please be aware that the district will continue to distribute meals weekly to ALL EHT students. We hope to plan a few end of the year activities for our children. We will keep you posted as the plans develop.

Mrs. Stuhltrager's class had career day this week and the class shared what career they want to have and why. Mrs. Stuhltrager dressed up as the job when she retires.....selling ice cream at the beach! After their class shared they celebrated with popsicles!

After reading the book Oil Spill in language arts for a STEM project, the students in Mrs. Russnak and Ms. Delasotta's class had the chance to work together in groups to try out some of the strategies they learned about for removing oil from water.

Mrs. Widas and Mrs. Buccafurni's First Grade class was the first crew back in the Art Room in over a year! Confetti and lots of enthusiasm kicked-off the first Monday/Full-Day.

The first round of pride gear is in! The Renaissance advisors will be working on getting the orders packed up. We are very excited about the design to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We are still accepting orders, you definitely don't want to miss out on these! Thank you to The Nest at our very own EHT High School for making these amazing shirts a reality!
