Join us for the Next PTA Meeting on April 11 at Nodland Elementary in the Library at 6pm.

Don't forget to turn in your Color Run Packets on April 13. Please bring them to the office so they may get turned in to the PTA.

Please have your child/children wear proper tennis shoes to class for their safety. We run, jump, and move in many different directions in class. Dudes, boots, crocks, or any footwear with a slick sole are not proper PE footwear. PE days, have your student bring tennis shoes in their backpack and change into other shoes after class if that is their preference. Also, Mrs. Janssen has a video to help the students learn how to tie their shoes.

Sunnyside: Breakfast is served from 8:00am - 8:30am. Walk and talk starts at 8:30 and the first bell rings at 8:35. There is no staff on duty to supervise your student until 8:30.

Nodland: Breakfast is served from 8:00am - 8:20am. There is no staff on duty to supervise your student until 8:20.

From April 1 through 28, parents and families of students in preschool through grade 12 have the opportunity to participate in the Parent Conditions for Learning. It coincides with the Conditions for Learning student survey which students in the District take the week of April 11. The parent survey focuses on areas that range from student safety and positive adult and student relationships to school rules and how they are enforced. Participation in the survey is encouraged, but it is completely voluntary, and all questions are optional to answer. Visit the District website for more information and a link to the parent survey.f

Do you have school fees that need to be paid? Visit the Sioux City Community School District website and click on the “Parents” tab. On the Parents page, you will see a button for “Pay Fees” which will take you to MySchoolBucks where you can pay your student’s school fees online.
