Please do NOT use the back staff parking lot to drop off students in the morning. There is only enough parking in that lot for staff and we want to ensure that they are able to park in time to make it onto campus by the start of the school day.

Parents should only be parking in the front parking lot and dropping off students in the parent drop off line.

Please ensure that students finish breakfast and all drinks other than water before entering school in the morning. Food is not permitted on campus outside of the cafeteria to avoid spills and messes.

It is essential that students arrive to school on time for both consistency of routine and instructional needs. All of our classrooms begin academic instruction promptly at 8:15, so it is crucial that all students arrive between 8:00 am - 8:15 am. Please help us in making sure your students are at school on time!

Canyon Springs is accepting tax credit donations for extracurricular activities. Please see the tax credit facts and form below:

• Anyone with or without children, married or single, is eligible for this unprecedented state tax credit.
• The $400 maximum state tax credit is available for taxpayers who are married and filing jointly.
• For a single individual or a head of household, the tax credit is $200.
• A state tax credit will allow you to reduce the amount of your tax liability to the state or increase your refund from the state. If you donate the maximum $400, your Arizona tax bill would be $400 less or your refund would be $400 more

If you would like your kinder-1st and/or 3rd-8th grade child to take part in Spring CogAT Gifted testing (Our last on campus testing for the 24/25 school year), then you must sign them up HERE.

Registration is open now through January 10, 2025

Testing will take place between January 27 - February 21, 2025

• THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR STUDENTS WHO CURRENTLY ATTEND A DVUSD SCHOOL.

• If you have a child out of district that you would like to have participate in gifted testing can register here. You will need to pay a $50 fee and test by appointment at District Office.

• AZ allows ALL 2nd grade students to be tested during our above testing window. If you DO NOT want your 2nd grader to be tested please Opt Out HERE
