Lyman Memorial High School
January, 2025
Principal's Desk
Greetings, Lyman Bulldog Families.
As we say goodbye to January and welcome February, Lyman students and staff are starting our second semester. Yes, you heard it correctly: we are more than half-way through our academic school year!
There are numerous activities at Lyman during the month of February. Please look for notifications and posts online. All students and families are welcome to join in the fun! For example, Cross Country Recognition has been solidified for 2/13 at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game vs Ellis Tech (5:30/7:00 game times). Please consider joining us.
Please feel free to send an email to a teacher at any time regarding your child's progress in a class. In addition, Mr. Apicelli and I are available to listen and address concerns as they come up.
Have a wonderful month.
Sincerely,
Mr. Apicelli & Mrs. Mike
Support Services
Beginning in February, one of our academic classes will have the support of Willow, our therapy dog. This support is a new venture for Lyman!
Please see attached resources that our students/families may be able to use for support.
Student Council
Student Council spread some love this month by decorating hallways with hearts that had every student and staff members’ names on them. Everyone was encouraged to find their own heart. If there was a bulldog paw print on the back, they won a prize!
