Bored? Don’t know what to do? How about some food? Eating delicious foods, in my opinion, can help make boring days much better. Here are a couple recipes you can try out this month, or even anytime!

*******Note that all of these recipes are from 7th grader Nitin Natarajan, who makes his own recipes and cooks them (they’re all really good, trust me)*******

1. Pesto Cream Pasta - This is a great pasta recipe you can try out! It’s really tasty, and gives a new definition to good pasta!

1. Heat some water to 212 degrees in a kettle.

2. Then pour the water into a sauce pan.

3. Then turn on the stove to medium.

4. After the water starts boiling, add any pasta you like to usually eat. It doesn’t matter which one.

5. Then strain the pasta.

6. To make the sauce, you need to first put pesto in the empty sauce pan.

7. Then add heavy whipped cream to it.

8. Once you have made the pesto sauce, mix it with your pasta and VOILA!! Enjoy the meal!

1. Nitin’s Restaurant-Style Quesadilla - This is an awesome recipe for a quesadilla, bringing in a rich and exotic meal, while also enhancing the homemade greatness.

1. Put butter on a hot pan

2. Add tortilla to pan after butter has

3. Take tortilla off of pan and add second tortilla

4. Repeat steps 1-3 one more time

5. While the second tortilla is cooking, add cheese to the top

6. Add taco seasoning and cumin power to the cheese

7. Add second tortilla

8. Wait for the cheese to melt and ENJOY!

TWICE is a K-pop girl group that consists of nine members, each with their own unique talents and abilities. TWICE is a group formed under an entertainment company known as JYP Entertainment. They have really diverse songs that fall under a number of genres, such as bubblegum pop, dance-pop, and EDM. Overall, they’re an amazingly talented group that has achieved so much! If you're watching this and you're a typical Tik Tok user, it's possible that by the end of this year you'll no longer be able to use or download the app. Sounds like a joke right? Nope, this topic isn't a dream. There were already many controversies about Tik Tok and its effects on teens - however this matter isn't just about attention span and addiction concerns. This article will contain most of the information you need to know about what Tik Tok's future could potentially be like and what's happening as of now.

First off, for those who don't know, Tik Tok is a popular social media app with over 1 billion downloads worldwide. Short clips are mainly posted on the app; this is popular because these bite sized videos can be watched and finished in seconds in contrast to often much longer videos on other apps such as YouTube.

The House of Representatives passed a bill in early March stating that TikTok's owner, who was Chinese, must either sell TikTok or have it banned in the US. The debate on this bill was limited; the bill passed with a vote count of 352-65. US President Joe Biden noted that if the bill reached the White House, he would sign it.

The app has actually been under threat since 2020. Lawmakers argued that TikTok's founding company, ByteDance, has raised national security risks across the country. The bill is aimed to force ByteDance to sell TikTok to a non-Chinese owner. If the company doesn't comply within 6 months, TikTok will be banned.

As of now, TikTok is still usable. However, if the TikTok bill passes the Senate and White House, then it'll go into effect and it could be months before the app is totally banned in the US. For now, however, no one knows what will happen for sure - only time will tell.
