We ask that you pray over our fall Week of Prayer which will be next week, October 25-29. We will have chapel every day and will be focused on prayer, growing our relationship with Jesus, and learning about His love. We look forward to a beautiful week of learning and growing together.

We need pizza orders placed by THURSDAY MORNING to make sure we have enough pizza for everyone!

Being on time is an important practice for all students. Classes start promptly at 8:30 a.m. Students arriving after that time often miss worship, announcements, and academic activities. Our CAA Handbook outlines the tardy policy and financial fines for being late consistently. As the second quarter has begun we are tracking tardies more consistently and will be sending reminders.

Attendance is a legal matter. The attendance policy can be found in our Student handbook. Students must be in attendance at least 90% of the total days to receive credit for completing their course work. We recognize this can be tricky with illnesses. Please communicate with the administration office and turn in the appropriate doctor's notes to ensure absences are excused.

We had a delay in receiving our discount cards. However, they are almost ready! This is an easy fundraiser and if everyone gets involved we can make a good amount for our worthy student and operating costs. We are asking each student to sell TWO cards. Each card costs $20.00. Attached is a pre-order form. Thank you for your support with this project!

CAA can earn money from your everyday purchases. Simply name CAA on your Amazon Smile account and Kroger Rewards card.

This past week we had parent/teacher conferences. During these meetings, the report cards were handed out along with MAPS Skills information. If you were not able to meet with your student's teacher you will receive your report cards on Monday. If you would like to meet with the teacher please schedule directly with them.

As of today, 10/22/21, we have had no reports of new confirmed Covid-19 cases directly on campus.

It seems the number of cases reported is declining. We have had no reports of cases for the past two weeks. Thank you all for your diligence in staying home when experiencing symptoms of any kind and keeping our community healthy.

We have had students who experienced allergy and cold-type symptoms. In all these situations it was not Covid related.

If your family or student has had direct, close contact with someone with Covid please call the administration office for appropriate isolation and exclusion protocols for your situation. We have been in contact with the local health department, reviewed CDC and TEA guidelines, and updated our Covid-19 policies and protocols to reflect current standards. Below are some visual guides which support and follow our protocols.

If your student will be out an extended amount of time due to COVID, please contact the administration office so we can coordinate assignments and times for students to join the class via Google Meet.
